John 14:28
King James Version (KJV)
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. John 14:27-29 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

2 Corinthians 5:1 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
2 Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling,
3 because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked.
4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
5 Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

2 Corinthians 4:10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body.
12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Luke 14:26
New International Version (NIV)
"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters–yes, even his own life–he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:25-27 (in Context) Luke 14 (Whole Chapter)

Matthew 10:37 King James Version (KJV)
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:36-38 (in Context) Matthew 10 (Whole Chapter)

p.s. ?? does this also include our friends, & family ie: our earthly relationships with them ?? & does their departure from this world end this ?? did christ's relationship with his followers end with is departure ??? do they continue to love one antoher more and more & or mutually ? do they continue to communicate ?? did christ ?? or, is he, (or are they) waiting for us to get to heaven to pick up where we left off ?? many more scriptures answer these questions mommy, and also tell us that gaining our heavenly body is the point in the healing miracles.
as the lord continued, and continues his relationships with his followers after his departure from this world with me (in the garden of gethsemene he prayed for those yet to be born and believe...) he has also allowed ie: my relationship with othamommy, and michael to continue, & to grow, and so will yrs. with yr. dear friends & family, when the lord take us, although, he may use this as a means to show us all token of the meaning of every miracle, by healing the earthly body, thereby working through any/every illness, as a testimony of his divine nature, his plans for us, & his "kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven", another demonstration of/on the way to our heavenly dwellings. meanwhile, whatever the lord does, & whatever happens, he wants us to stand in the fullness of the truth about death, to wit:
2 Timothy 1:10
King James Version (KJV) But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel !!!! 2 Timothy 1:9-11 (in Context) 2 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

John 12:24 New International Version (NIV)

phil.2:17
Yes, and if I am being poured out [as a drink offering] on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.

1 John 4:17 King James Version (KJV)

2 corinthians 4:18 So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
